A comic made at the invitation of Rui Baião for the first issue of the literary and art magazine Bestiário, dedicated to theme of “disgust.” My contribution, “Compewwwter Love,” is visual (wordless) exploration on digital disgust. In the comic, found Internet images of “disgusting” anime pornography—including coprophilia, tentacle rape porn, and furries—are digitally shredded and reduced to a quasi-abstract mass of pixels and glitches, bringing out the restless subsemiotic substances that shape these highly specific, highly formatted fantasies. The comic is accompanied by a theoretical essay titled “Disgusting Computers. Some considerations on ‘dark digitality.’”

I also did the back cover, which will be the cover for the next issue, “monster.”

Banda desenhada feita para a revista Bestiário a convite de Rui Baião, para o primeiro número dedicado ao tema “Nojo.” A minha contribuição, “Compewwwter Love,” é uma exploração visual (sem palavras) sobre o nojo digital. Nesta banda desenhada, imagens “nojentas” de pornografia animé recolhidas na Internet—incluindo coprofilia, tentacle rape, e furries—são digitalmente destruídas e reduzidas a uma massa quase-abstrata de pixels e glitches, trazendo à superfície as substâncias subsemióticas inquietas que dão forma a estas fantasias altamente específicas, altamente formatadas. A banda desenhada é acompanhada por um ensaio teórico intitulado “Computadores nojentos. Algumas considerações sobre a ‘digitalidade negra.’”

Também fiz a contracapa, que será a capa do próximo número, “monstro.”
